Itanagar: As Indian Idol fame Rito Riba continues to impress music lovers across the nation and globe with his mesmerizing voice, he has silently also become one of the most-streamed Indian artists in Spotify and several other online music streaming apps.
According to Kworb.net, a website that collects and analyzes music data from around the world, Rito’s Heer Ranjha was in the 20th position until November 29 in Spotify’s India chart with a total of 12,175,767 streams.
Spotify is one of the largest music streaming service providers in the globe, with over 456 million monthly active users, including 195 million paying subscribers.
Rito’s Heer Ranjha at present has a total of 13,159,432 streams and had hit the peak (11th position in India) on November 17.
Heer Ranjha also has managed to gain 25 million views on YouTube while Rito’s new song Ik Tu Hi (No Mabe) at present has 8.6 million views on YouTube and 2,38,264 streams on Spotify.
Twenty-four-year-old Rito shot to fame after he wowed the nation in Season 13 of singing reality show Indian Idol.
The singer-songwriter at present has 4,088,813 monthly listeners in Spotify and is the top streamed artist from Arunachal Pradesh in the music streaming app.
