Resonance 23: Team Aqua clinches victory in SCCZ’s annual extravaganza

‘Resonance’ is an annual event at Saint Claret College, Ziro, offering students a platform to showcase their talents in various fields.

Ziro: The weeklong annual art, literary, cultural, sports, and games competitions at Saint Claret College, Ziro, titled “Resonance ’23” concluded on a high note with a grand closing ceremony held here on Saturday.

This year’s theme, ‘Growing through synergy,’ saw students divided into four teams: Team Terra, led by Duyu Tubing and Dema Molo; Team Aqua, under the leadership of Kyoda Tada and Lisa Murtem; Team Ventus, led by Takam Isaac Nachung and Wulla Linggi; and Team Ignis, led by Pura Saadi and Tallo Riya.

A total of 32 events took place during the week.

The competition remained intense throughout the week, with Team Aqua, led by Kyoda Tada, emerging as this year’s champions. Team Ignis secured the runner-up position, while Lumri Bini from Team Ventus was honored as the individual champion of Resonance 2023.

Sagalee extra assistant commissioner, Koj Tacho, graced the closing ceremony and presented the awards.

In his address, he encouraged students to seize the opportunities provided by the college to fulfill their aspirations.

The festival was inaugurated on October 16 by 60th ITBP Battalion commandant, Shailendra Singh Nagarkoti.

The Junior Claretine Council (JCC), the college’s student council, played a pivotal role in organizing the event.”

Founded in 2003, the SCCZ is an undergraduate college run by the Claretian Missionaries, a Roman Catholic Order founded by St Anthony Mary Claret.

The college is affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University, Itanagar and is also recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC).

SCCZ offers Bachelor of Arts and Commerce, B A in Mass Communication and several other certificate courses.
