Itanagar: The state civil service officers posted within and outside the state have announced to go on a two-day mass casual leave on April 10 and 11 next over the alleged ‘inaction’ by the authorities concerned on various issues pertaining to the cadre.
The officers under the banner of Arunachal Pradesh Civil Service Officers Association (APCSOA) also submitted a representation to the chief secretary on Friday announcing their decision.
According to the APCSOA, the organization has submitted various representations to the government from time to time on various issues including posting of Urban Local Bodies director; revocation of abeyance order in respect of posting of APCS officer as IT director; timely convening of DPC and timely induction into IAS; review of guidelines pertaining to transfer and posting of APCS officers, etc.
The association said the same is, however, yet to be looked into by the authorities concerned.
“All members of the APCSOA posted within and outside the state shall be proceeding on mass casual leave for two days on April 10 and 11 as the first phase of our protest and to register our resentment against the inaction of the authorities,” the association said.
