Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh has made it to the semi finals of the Hero Junior (U-17) Women’s National Football Championship-2022 after it defeated Chhattisgarh by a solitary goal in a nail biting quarter final match of the competition on Wednesday.
The match was played at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium in Guwahati.
Though Chhattisgarh’s solid defense tried to keep the Arunachalee strikers at bay throughout the match, it was the lone goal scored by Tallo Ana in the 35th minute that proved to be the decider of the match.
This was Ana’s third goal in the competition.

Unbeaten in the competition so far, Arunachal will face either Kerala or Dadra and Nagar Haveli semis on July 02.
The Arunachal Pradesh Football Association (APFA) has congratulated the team management led by coach Kipa Bharat and players for the splendid feat and wished them success for the semi finals.
