IPR dy director Bosai, 2 others bid adieu

Naharlagun: The department of information and public relations (DIPR) organised a farewell meeting for deputy director Denhang Bosai, senior cameraman N C Kar and peon Bulu Pura following their retirement on April 29.

In his farewell speech, Bosai recalled his long experience with the department in different capacities.

“All good things must come to an end one day. Life is a transitory flower and not a static object. Everything in this transient world is temporary and nothing is permanent. We are only temporary guests in this beautiful world and taking rest as we continue our onward journey towards the unknown world ahead,” he said emotionally.

Kar and Pura also recalled their experiences in the department and thanked all for their cooperation.

Earlier, director of printing, Tajuk Charu, IPR under secretary B Goswami, IPR director Dasher Teshi, officers and officials of the department highlighted the contributions of Bosai and described him as the department’s livewire, who enhanced the image of IPR.

They lauded his PR and creative writing skills which helped the department immensely while carrying out various programmes. His services would be greatly missed, they added.

The speakers also appreciated Kar and Pura.

Bosai was the first State Awardee (Gold Medal) from DIPR in 2013 while serving as DIPRO, Tirap district. He was the festival director of the hugely successful Arunachal Literary Festivals organized jointly by DIPR and the Arunachal Pradesh Literary Society in 2018 and 2019.

He was also instrumental in organizing the North-East Literary Festival this year with grand success. Bosai was the event director of the PR Conclave held in Itanagar in 2020.
