Itanagar: A three-day workshop titled “The Platform: Avenues, Opportunities & Self Employment” commenced at the Dorjee Khandu Auditorium within the premises of the state legislative assembly here on Friday.

The event, jointly organized by the Arunachal Photography Club (APC) and the Department of Youth Affairs, hosted the presence of distinguished guests, including Boleng-Pangin legislator, Ojing Tasing, and Itanagar Capital Region (ICR) ADC, Shweta Nagarkoti, who assumed the roles of chief guest and guest of honor, respectively.

Another panel was dedicated to “Film Making: An Art, a Passion, and a Profession,” featuring filmmaker Tai Gungte as the resource person while Lily Maying, popularly known as “Miss No One”, provided insights and guidance to attendees on “How to Become a Successful Blogger.”

Legislator Ojing Tasing used the occasion to underscore various government schemes and encouraged students to lead self-sustainable, productive lives, thereby contributing to the vision of an Atmanirbhar Arunachal Pradesh.

ADC Shweta Nagarkoti commended the APC for their initiative and urged the youth to make the most of this platform to secure sustainable livelihoods.
