Ashok Singhal appointed BJP’s Arunachal in-charge

Itanagar: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has appointed Assam minister Ashok Singhal as the party’s new in-charge for Arunachal Pradesh, as announced on Friday.

Singhal, currently serving as Assam’s minister of Housing and Urban Affairs and Irrigation, will now oversee BJP’s activities in Arunachal Pradesh, aiming to bolster the party’s organizational structure in the state.

This strategic move underscores BJP’s commitment to strengthen its political footprint in Arunachal Pradesh, a region of growing significance for the party.

BJP party officials expressed confidence in Singhal’s leadership abilities, believing his appointment will effectively enhance BJP’s outreach and coordination with local leaders in Arunachal.

“Our heartiest congratulations to Hon’ble Minister of Assam Shri Ashok Singhal ji on being appointed the State In-charge BJP Arunachal Pradesh. We are certain that your able leadership will play a vital role to further strengthen the party from the grassroots level in the state,” the Arunachal BJP said in a social media post.
