Itanagar: Arunachalee MMA fighters have bagged 4 gold medals in the GAMMA National Championship 2023.
The event came to an end in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh on Monday.
The star of the event for Arunachal was Dado Chumpi won two gold medals in the 52.2 kg and 60 kg categories and a silver in the 56.7 kg event.
Dado was also adjudged the best female fighter of the tournament for her outstanding performance.
The other two gold medals for team Arunachal were won by Tadar Tabyu in the 47 kg category and Diyo Rimo in the 61.2 kg Striking MMA category.
Arunachal’s Bengia Lalu also won a bronze medal in the 52.2 kg category.
All the fighters represented the Abrasumente Academy, Itanagar and were coached by Techi Karda.
