Itanagar: The Budget session of Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly will begin from March 11 next, officials said on Thursday.
Governor Brig (Retd) Dr B D Mishra has summoned the Seventh Legislative Assembly of Arunachal Pradesh to meet for its ninth session (Budget) at 10 am on March 11 and the session would conclude on March 17, officials said.
Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein, who also holds the finance portfolio, would present the budget estimates for the financial year 2022-23 while several important government bills are also expected to be tabled during the 7-day session.
This will be the fifth budget of the BJP government in the state.
Meanwhile, the Government of Arunachal Pradesh has also invited the citizens of the state including the government departments to take part in the state building process by giving innovative suggestions for the upcoming Budget.
The best three ideas will earn rewards of ₹50,000 each.
“One can visit www.arunachalbudget.in and submit their suggestions. The website, a first of its kind in the region, is created for the masses to provide ideas and suggestions to make the budget a people-friendly one,” officials said.
