Aspirations fulfilled in 8 years of Modi govt: BJP

Necha said the CM Pema Khandu government has also managed to bring tremendous development in Arunachal Pradesh.

Itanagar: State BJP spokesperson Techi Necha on Thursday said eight years of BJP government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi have been successful in fulfilling the aspirations of its people.

In Arunachal Pradesh, the government led by Chief Minister Pema Khandu is similarly committed to fulfilling the party’s pursuit of ‘Seva, Sushasan and Gareeb Kalyan’ (service, good governance, and welfare of the poor).

Addressing reporters at the press club here, Necha said the Khandu government has so far managed to bring tremendous development in the fields of road connectivity, air connectivity, healthcare, education and security in the state.

“While most of the districts are being connected with better roads, a few highway projects are in progress. Likewise, the state now has better facilities and medical equipment in the hospitals,” he said.

A few districts are now availing air connectivity and soon, the much-awaited Greenfield Hollongi airport will be functional, he said.

The party’s chief spokesperson Dominic Tadar said Modi has been ensuring since 2014 that the government fulfils every need of the people.

The achievements range from the abrogation of Article 370 from Jammu & Kashmir and the construction of Ram Temple in Ayodhya to better healthcare and pandemic management, ensuring farmer’s welfare, women empowerment, empowering youths and economic reforms, he said.

“In the context of the Northeast, the Modi government has integrated the states by signing peace agreements with various insurgent groups, built land and airway connectivity for better communication and strengthen national security,” he added.

Tadar also spoke about the foreign policy and disaster management under the BJP government, citing the rescue missions under Operation Ganga and Operation Rahat.
